Project Overview
A solid staircase, that lets light travel with ease.
We had the privilege of being approached by Rosa and Craig to craft a one-of-a-kind staircase design for their Grand Designs adventure in revitalizing their family's historic reservoir. It was a truly remarkable project to be a part of. Our team designed a unique open-plan metal staircase with eye-catching feature treads, which now stands as the centerpiece of their living area.

FEATURE
Large LED lit treads / landings
A custom steel structure to compliment the building exposed structure.
The idea was for the steelwork to blend in beautifully with their existing PFC steel beams, which they intended to keep exposed in their living space. Making sure the stairs matched up with these beams was a bit tricky, but we knew that crafting a bespoke staircase design was the key to making it all come together perfectly.

The Challenge
Simple but effective design, with minimal fuss.
A crucial aspect of the project was the innovative idea to suspend the quarter landing turn, creating a spacious feature tread area. This space was cleverly designed to double as a charming plant dressing area, infusing the space beneath the staircase with as much personality as the ascent through the property.
